Kid Kapichi — ”Newsnight”
For those feeling the stress of the election doom scroll.
Kid Kapichi’s new track “Newsnight” is a dive into the modern media madness, capturing the anxiety and unease of our times. With lyrics that slice through the chaos—”I heard it on the radio, I saw it on the news”—the song nails the eerie, almost surreal sense of disconnect we feel from what’s happening around us. Known for their gritty sound and politically charged lyrics, it’s another testament to why Kid Kapichi stands out: fearless, fierce, and unfiltered. “Newsnight” is out now, available on the deluxe version of There Goes The Neighbourhood. —Eddie Barella
Jayden Seeley — ”700 sq ft”
For those falling in love and moving to a new city.
Jayden Seeley‘s second solo track, “700 sq ft,” shows a beautiful love story between 2 people who want to start a life together. Follow along the story of a young couple as they fall in love and settle into a spot they start to call home. Try not to cry when you dissect the lyrics but it’ a song that’s perfect for the seasons changing because it wraps you like a warm sweater! Hopefully, we’ll be getting more singles from Jayden soon! —Fish
RedHook — ”Bomb.com”
For those who make the world their mosh pit.
RedHook‘s latest single, “Bomb.com” is exactly that–an explosion of sound and fury that makes up a track you’ll just have to mosh to, even if it’s alone in the living room. The song is a blazing nu-metal moment (with synth riffs!) that’ll have you battle rapping in the mirror. Frontwoman Emmy Mack says, “‘Bomb.com’ is basically just a big fun diss track about an egomaniacal dude in the music industry who likes to talk a lot of sh*t, particularly about female-fronted bands…” It’s empowering, fun, and fierce, which is pretty much RedHook’s M.O.! Make sure to keep an eye out for their sophomore album, Mutation, out November 22nd.—Sasha
AVOID — ”Burn”
For fans of sick riffs and kicking ass.
Back with their first new music since their sophomore smash, Cult Mentality, AVOID has a new home (the always awesome UNFD) and a blistering new single, “Burn“!
A track they’ve been playing live since their spring tour, it will have listeners headbanging almost instantly and singing along with every word of the anthemic, stadium-sized chorus! “Burn” is a great starting point for those unfamiliar with the band. It’s also a reminder to those who are. AVOID are picking up where they left off.
Their one-of-a-kind brand of the high-octane blend of metal and rock, kickass riffage, Benny Scholl’s honest/personable lyrics, and versatile vocals all come together like a gas to a bonfire to create an explosive song that will have fans across the globe crowd surfing and moshing while singing it the top of their lungs. —Patrick Walford
NOAHFINNCE — “SICK OF BEING NICE”
For those running out of fucks to give.
What gives “angst” better than a fuzzed-out vocal with an English accent? If you love the idea of being a Sex Pistols fan but just can’t get past that good ole 1970s garage-quality production, NOAHFINNCE is bringing modernity to the cause with “SICK OF BEING NICE.” This tune is for all the people-pleasers out there who have hit their limit. It’s never too late to stand up for yourself, and a dash of assholeness is okay every now and then. Coming from his deluxe version of GROWING UP ON THE INTERNET, this B-side track is totally a stand-out. —Tate Logan
