IDLES Announces Huge 2024 World Tour, New LP ‘TANGK’


Bristol-based post-punkers IDLES are going on a major international tour in 2024, including plentiful stops in North America. Beginning on February 29, the band will kick off a long run of European shows in Portugal, and conclude on March 23 in Frankfurt. Then, the group will begin their North American tour on May 3 in Vancouver before heading down into the United States and also hitting venues in Mexico. The Recording Academy just announced a long list of nominations for the forthcoming 2025 Grammy Awards. Excitingly, many rising pop artists lead the pack with Album Of The Year and Best New Artist nominations—we see you Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter. IDLES Finds “Freudenfreude” In “POP POP POP” Music Video


Following up music video releases for “Dancer,” “Gift Horse,” and “Grace,” IDLES is back with new visuals for their TANGK track, “POP POP POP.” Shot on location in Iceland, “POP POP POP” focuses on lead vocalist Joe Talbot moving through the snow-capped mountains and lanes.
