Slipknot, Disturbed, More To Headline Sonic Temple Festival 2024


For metal and heavy rock fans of the Midwest, today is a big announcement day. Sonic Temple Festival 2024 officially shared their lineup for their upcoming event. CBGB founder Hilly Kristal dies


Hilly Kristal, the founder of New York punk rock club CBGB, which helped make the Ramones, Blondie and Talking Heads stars, has died at age 75, his daughter said on Wednesday. Kristal died on Tuesday from complications of lung cancer, his daughter, Lisa Kristal Burgman, said. Songwriters Suing Over 'Unpretty'


Billboard magazine reports that former Living Colour singer Corey Glover and his songwriting partner Michael Cirincione are suing R&B group TLC over the song “Unpretty.” The two say they had written a song called “Make Up Your Mind” for the group a year before “Unpretty” came out. They say that “Unpretty” lifts significant and uncredited portions from their song. The two songwriters say LaFace Records told them “Make Up Your Mind” would not be used on the TLC album.
