One Step Closer has announced their new album, All You Embrace. The hardcore group’s second LP will be released on May 17 via Run For Cover Records. In the wake of the announcement, they’ve released a new song called “Giant’s Despair.” In the track, the band embraces shoegaze sounds with intricate hardcore chords that are re-fitted into a modern mix of emphatic emo. The Nashville-based punk rock label, Pure Noise Records has announced the second installment of their Dead Formats compilation albums. Dead Formats Vol. 2 will see many bands from the Pure Noise Records roster covering classic songs across the punk and rock genres.
