Lamb Of God and Killswitch Engage will head out on a co-headlining tour this fall. The tour launches October 22nd in Toronto and canvases much of the U.S and Canada. Support for the tour will come from Testament and Huntress.

Ozzy crooned, mooned and squirted his water guns, Disturbed bellowed, and Marilyn Manson vamped it up, but Ozzfest has always been just as much about the lesser-known acts, and Sunday’s show was no exception. Though bands like Kilgore, Pushmonkey and the perhaps aptly named No One have proven that Ozzfest exposure alone won’t make you famous, second-stage alumni System of a Down and Slipknot can attest that it certainly doesn’t hurt. Female-fronted power metal quintet Huntress recently wrapped up a tour with metal titans Testament, Killswitch Engage, and Lamb of God, who they’ll be heading to Europe with in the new year. Frontwoman Jill Janus plays hardball and is certainly one of the boys. Classically trained and positively wicked, Janus sat down for some girltalk with idobi writer Alex Rudisill at one of their final dates with such a legendary lineup.
If you weren’t on the 2024 ShipRocked Cruise, you missed out on a dazzling collab from Afterlife and Dayseeker. Luckily, you can find a snippet of the crossover on Afterlife’s Instagram page. Lead singer Tyler Levenson joined Dayseeker during their set to add screams to 2022’s “Dreamstate” from Dark Sun.
