New England Metal & Hardcore Festival have announced their initial line-up for 2014. The festival will take place at The Palladium in Worcester, MA from April 17-19. Bands playing include All That Remains, Iced Earth, Slapshot, Cruel Hand, Twitching Tongues, Reign Supreme and more. It will also be the last East Coast performance from Bleeding Through.

Who Bassist's Funeral Held in England


Family, friends and surviving members of the iconic British rock band The Who attended the funeral of virtuoso bass player John Entwistle on Wednesday at a rural church. Guitarist Pete Townshend, vocalist Roger Daltrey and drummer Kenny Jones, who replaced Keith Moon after his death in 1978, attended the service at St. Edward’s Church in Stow-on-the-Wold. David Byrne Reimagines Paramore’s “Hard Times” With Jazzy Twist


After teasing the cover, David Byrne has finally released his reimagination of Paramore‘s “Hard Times.” This follows the band’s take on Byrne’s classic track “Burning Down The House,” which they covered as part of the Talking Heads tribute album Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense via A24 Music.
