Draven Bennington, the 21-year-old son of the late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington, has released his debut single, “F_w_Me,” under the moniker RVRND and announced his premier EP, which is set to arrive in August. What a treat it was to chat with music producer Esjay Jones. She talks about her frustration with the music industry initially which led her to teach herself music production and Logic and then move into the producing side. She had her first major cut in the U.S. alongside co-writer Justin Tranter in 2013 with the single “I Choose U” by TimeFlies on Def Jam Records. Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington was released from a Los Angeles hospital Monday (June 9), according to a spokesperson for the band’s label. Bennington had checked into the facility on May 30 complaining of intense chest and stomach pains. Doctors determined that either a parasite or an intestinal disorder was likely responsible for the ailment. Over the weekend, co-vocalist Mike Shinoda told Los Angeles’ KROQ-FM that Bennington would probably need surgery once the exact cause of his illness was pinpointed.
