Say Your Prayers—BAYBE Drops Her Debut EP ‘God’s Favorite’

Genre-fluid artist BAYBE has officially dropped her honest (and insanely catchy) debut EP, God’s Favorite, today. In a post on her Instagram story, she shares, “Put a lot of hard work into this EP. I hope you either love it or hate it, and feel nothing in between.” We can say with certainty that we are Team Love It.  The Nashville-born artist opens up the floodgates to her thoughts and feelings on religion across the 5-track release. She unleashes the seven deadly sins on us all. The EP includes the previously released singles “Father, Son, Holy Ghost,” “Stray Dog,” and… Read more »

BAYBE Leads Cult-Like Gathering in “Father, Son, Holy Ghost” Video

Last week, emerging Nashville artist BAYBE blessed us with her new single “Father, Son, Holy Ghost.” Now, the rising starlet has unleashed the ceremonious accompanying video for her latest venture. “Father, Son, Holy Ghost” will be featured on BAYBE’s debut EP God’s Favorite, which arrives on April 28. Acting as a cult leader-like figure, BAYBE heads a chaotic mass gathering, which eventually leads to her followers drinking blood-like liquid from a glass in a church. Having made a name for herself in punk rock with her group The Bombpops, and touring alongside genre titans such as Descendents, Bad Religion, and Against Me!, vocalist/guitarist Jen Razavi (Jen Pop) has launched her debut solo track, “Saw In Half.” The Will Yip-produced (Circa Survive, Turnstile, La Dispute) single is hauntingly, atmospheric showcasing Razavi’s tenderness and vulnerability. Where there were once fast, driving rhythms, distorted guitar riffs, and melodic hooks, Razavi has traded in for a more stripped-back, delicate approach. Detailing a failed relationship that’s left the narrator feeling broken and alone, “Saw In Half” is an introspective and… Read more »

Wavves & Cloud Nothings Announce Co-Headlining Tour

It is a special thing when two bands come up in the music industry together. Typically sharing interests, music styles, and simply having a good time together, these ‘buddy bands’ support each other’s endeavors and often cross paths in more ways than one. Whether it be a split release, a tour, or a feature, two bands with a strong friendship will find a way to work together. Wavves and Cloud Nothings are a great example of this.
