Following the release of “More Like A Crush” earlier this year, Mayday Parade has shared their latest pop-punk effort “Got Me All Wrong,” primed to become the song of the summer. “‘Got Me All Wrong’ is about falling hard for someone but the other person isn’t on the same page,” drummer Jake Bundrick shares. “I met my wife on Warped Tour and the song is roughly about that. In 2015, Frank Zummo joined Sum 41. Since taking over on drums for the storied group, they’ve released two full-length albums and are gearing up to drop their final double album, Heaven :x: Hell, out March 29 via Rise Records. The ending of Sum 41 is a weird thought. Pop-punk royals Mayday Parade just made this fall Friday a little brighter with the release of their new track and accompanying music video for “Miracle.” Preceded by 2023 singles “More Like A Crash” and “Got Me All Wrong,” “Miracle” takes a deep look at mental health struggles and how it’s sometimes hard to talk about your feelings with your support systems.
