One of the most exciting announcements of Disney’s D23 2019 was “Cruella”, the live-action prequel to “101 Dalmatians”. The movie’s star, Emma Stone, unveiled the details via video message during the event. Only one photo has been revealed and it’s perfect. With Stone as Cruella, the film takes place during London’s 1970’s punk era. It looks like the character hasn’t yet evolved to her fur coat wearing days and is instead leather-clad from head to toe. Then, security was handled by the local Hells Angels chapter, who clubbed fans with pool cues while the band looked on helplessly. A teenager was stabbed to death as he appeared to point a gun at… Read more »

Instead, he’ll make a speech from the stage about the importance of fighting global warming, according to the Natural Resources Defense Council, the nonprofit group staging the gig. Stone Temple Pilots will let fans watch them make their fifth album – but don’t expect a personal invitation to their rented Malibu home. STP filmed a behind-the-scenes documentary as they recorded the LP in their beach villa-turned-recording studio. “It set out to be like a modern-day ‘Let It Be,’” Chapman Baehler, the film’s director, said Thursday (April 5), referring to Michael Lindsay-Hogg’s 1970 Beatles documentary. The film follows singer Scott Weiland, guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz through the record-making process, from hammering out songs in preproduction to putting the tunes down on tape. “It’s… Read more »
