Over 700 artifacts and pieces of memorabilia of Rock ‘n’ Roll history will make their way to auction on October 25 and 26, 2019. A Culver City-based company, Julien’s Auctions, is hosting the event. The remainder of Kurt Cobain’s ashes have been stolen from Courtney Love. Love was storing the ashes in a pink bear-shaped handbag that was hidden in the wardrobe closet of her Hollywood home and believes the bag was taken by a former friend. “I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me. Kurt Cobain documentary to get U.S. release


The Kurt Cobain documentary which features voiceover from the Nirvana frontman himself is due to be released in the U.S. in October. AJ Schnack’s documentary film Kurt Cobain: About A Son is set to come to cinemas in New York, Los Angeles, and Seattle in early October. Avoiding what was expected to be an intense bidding war over Kurt Cobain’s journals, a New York imprint snapped up the world publishing rights on Monday for a seven-figure sum.
