This week I have long time friend and drummer Chris Kamrada from the band Dashboard Confessional, I first was introduced to him by JR from Less Than Jake when JR was managing Kamrada’s band “There For Tomorrow.” Chris and I then for many years would be up for a lot of the same drumming gigs and would tour along side each other, we got to know each other on the road but I brought him on to get the story of how he got to where he is today.
There’s one last party in the Sunshine State this year, and it’s going to be pretty emo. Emo Social, run by Dashboard Confessional drummer Chris Kamrada, announced a packed line-up to grace the Florida lands. The event goes down on December 16 at Wall Street Plaza in Orlando, FL, and boasts an emo legend act and trending pop-punk and alternative artists.
