Following the announcement of their exciting reunion as well as the 10 year anniversary performance of their full-length album Never Happy, Ever After at Slam Dunk Fest in 2025, As It Is has launched their forthcoming compilation album A Decade Uneventful: B-Sides & Rarities (2012 – 2022) with several unreleased tracks and demos. Slam Dunk in the UK has announced the first wave of their 2025 festival. The two-day event is slated to take place on May 24 at Hatfield Park (South) and May 25 at Leeds Temple Newsam (North). After weeks of teasers and subtle hints, As It Is has officially confirmed their return! On August 22, social media buzzed with excitement as fans noticed signs of the band’s comeback, including new logo placements across their social media channels. Earlier in the month, former vocalist and guitarist Ben Langford-Biss updated his X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram bios to include @asitisofficial, fueling additional speculation. If you thought As It Is called it quits in 2022, think again. On August 22, fans started to see that As It Is wiped their Instagram page of all posts and revamped their merch store website. As It Is has announced their indefinite hiatus from music. The news came from frontman Patty Walters in a recent Instagram post. This week I have guitar player and songwriter Ronnie Ish from the band As It Is, my first introduction of him that I remember was us meeting on a bus that we were forced to share for a month, and we got to know each other and became close in that amount of time, and fast forward the clock and he now is in his band As It Is on Fearless Records.
