Slipknot officially kicked off their 25th Anniversary Here Comes The Pain tour with guests Knocked Loose and Orbit Culture in Noblesville, Indiana on August 6. The iconic metal act is playing an expansive setlist, mostly from their notable 1999 self-titled LP. In fact, the artists closed out the entire show with their eight-minute-long track “Scissors,” which marks the first time playing it live since 2000. Eloy Casagrande just got a major promotion. The Brazilian drummer best known for his work in Sepultura was officially named the new member of Slipknot on April 30. But how did this come to be? In a recently translated interview with VEJA São Paulo, Casagrande shared his journey to become a part of metal’s most iconic outfit. As plans heat up to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their self-titled album, Slipknot has announced the “Here Comes The Pain” North American tour, kicking off this summer. Knocked Loose and Orbit Culture will join Slipknot on the first leg of the tour, which begins on August 6. Knocked Loose will again join the group on the second leg with Vended, which kicks off on September 7.
