Following the August release of “Behind The Clock,” AFI have returned with their second single, “Holy Visions,” from the forthcoming Silver Bleeds The Black Sun…, due out on October 3 via Run For Cover Records. The new offering is a haunting ’80s goth-infused dream, emulating Davey Havok‘s dark wave musical influences, including the likes of The Cure and Bauhaus. Charlotte Sands just reimagined the iconic AFI track “Miss Murder.” The song will appear on the Sumerian Records’ American Psycho comic book series official soundtrack. To celebrate the holiday of tricks and treats, AFI is releasing their All Hallow’s E.P. on a limited-edition 10-inch vinyl for its 25th anniversary. Of the forthcoming release, AFI shared on socials, “To celebrate All Hallow’s EP turning 25 this October, we are releasing a 10” pressing in two new colors – Spectral Pink and Lantern Light. Despite all the territory they’ve covered in their near-thirty tenure, AFI retains an impressively conspicuous identity. It’s the Tim Burton condition in which, despite rejecting the confines of any categorical genre with each new release, they have an innate flair that renders them instantly recognizable.
