Clockwise from top left: Daredevil (David Lee/Netflix) // Titans (Steve Wilkie/Warner Bros.)
// Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Diyah Pera/Netflix) // Good Omens (Amazon)
Unless you’ve been living under a rock…in outer space…investigating red angel beams of light and growing facial hair…you’ll have heard the thunderous rumblings of New York Comic Con. This past weekend the geeky announcements came in strong so our Rioters are here to do what they do best…talk all about it!
Sherin, Philip, and Alex get together for a live She Said / He Said / She Said episode which breaks down the new movies, shows, and comics that were announced at NYCC. Trailers from Aquaman and Hellboy were the talk of the con but TV truly stole the show with news from Titans, Daredevil, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Good Omens, The Umbrella Academy and more. Of course there was plenty going on in comics too with new imprints launching and another Buffy reboot. Our Heroic Trio get into what properties they’re excited for…and why some of them make Sherin say…eeeh.
Tune in to Geek Girl Riot on idobi Radio every Tuesday at 11pm ET / 8pm PT for your dose of late-night geekery from our team of rioters. Til next time, see a list of everything our Rioters talked about below:
