250+ shows in three years seems like a lot, but that’s what it takes to get where you want to be—something Delaware’s Awake At Last not only knows, but also executed. In that time, you’ve heard the band rock with your faves, like Hawthorne Heights and Famous Last Words, but you’ve never heard them like this.
In their latest track from their forthcoming release, Life/Death/Rebirth, due out June 7th, the band create something much more magical than anything you could pull out of a hat. Hear the alt rock jam below, sing along, then join us in our countdown to the EP’s release date.
“Throughout the EP, the main character is faced with aspects and elements from his past life and love has played a significant role. Although love tends to play a significant role in most stories, White Rabbit represents the darker side of love. The song title is inspired by Alice In Wonderland which represents the chase that love can lead you on; the raw passion, the jealousy, the betrayal and pain that is often associated with it.” – Vincent Torres (vocals)
