Premiere: Commonweather’s New Track “The Devil You Know”

With Chicago’s edge and influence from acts like Bayside and Balance & Composure, comes rockers  Commonweather. Tonight, the Eddie, Jason & Chris show premiered the band’s latest track, “The Devil You Know”, and now you can hear it here on idobi.com.

We wrote this song about the tribulations of addiction, as we’ve watched friends and family deteriorate from substance abuse. It’s a really personal track to us, as it’s really hard to watch people you love struggle to survive without the crutch of a drug to get them through the day. This song hits as hard, and we think this is the perfect opener to “Apparitions”.

Since forming in 2014, the band have pulled on countless influences to craft a one of a kind sound. You can hear what they’re been creating on their upcoming release,  Apparitions, due out April 30th!
