In this age of blockbuster superhero franchises and the focus on the vigilante/anti-hero, it’s easy to forget that heroes don’t always wear capes. Individuals can make a difference, and can challenge the impossible everyday—like those fighting for equality, for those raising awareness of the recent injustices of the water crisis in Flint, MI, for those making sure good prevails with hope and idealism.
