We are proud to bring you the premiere of “Original Love,” the charming love song that opens Cassadee Pope’s self-titled debut EP. The 4-song EP was produced by Andrew Dixon and Jason Gavi, and represents Pope’s first foray into the solo world after a full-length and an EP with her previous band, Hey Monday.

Here’s what Cassadee wanted to say to all her loyal fans about the record:

“This EP represents everything I am, everything I’ve worked for, and everything I’m working towards. I’m so proud of this work, and feel so close to it. I’ve always been a writer and put my heart into every lyric. But this for some reason really hits home. I’ve had some of these songs for a year, and some I’ve written just recently. I hope the passion and love that went into them shines through. Enjoy my first ever solo release!”

        I personally know Cass and Ash as well as the Hey Monday band members hun and Cass is on her own now and Hey Monday is done,they are not on a hiatus they are not a band anymore,they each have gone on to bigger and better things.They all still remain close friends and hang out at times but Cass is a SOLO artist now. She’s proven to be an amazing one at that and I am so proud of her <3

    Ever since I’ve known you from the very beginning- I’ve been a HUGE fan and now with your EP coming out tomorrow- jeez I’ll just pass out from excitement! I’ve followed your work on Stickam and had SO much fun with you, Andrew(Aslan), Gavi and Rian on those awesome occasions. (LOL, tape bandaid. Yeah, that was me).
