Emerging alternative superstar Letdown. recently stopped by the idobi Radio Studios to chat with Fish on Gone Fishkin. During his interview, he discussed his growth as a live performer, missing the Warped Tour train, his excitement about the idobi Radio Summer School Tour lineup, and hinting at what the rest of the year holds for him.
Although the idobi Radio Summer School Tour is far from Letdown.’s first tour, it is definitely a new experience and one where he feels more confident and excited than ever to perform.
“I’m beyond excited. The biggest challenge for me with this tour has been choosing the songs. It is the shortest set that I’ve ever played in my life, and having to figure out what I want to do for that has been destroying my emotions because I have so many ones that I want to do. I think we’ve narrowed it down to the perfect set. I think it’s high-energy, straight bangers…I’m a little fucking biased,” he shares.
Throughout Letdown.’s interview, the clear takeaway is that the Top 40 Alternative Radio artist is excited about his future: future friendships with fellow artists on the Summer School Tour, future songs, future music videos, and a future debut album! In terms of upcoming music, he shares the following about the first album: “I’ve been writing it for about two years now. We finally think it’s time—all the situations willing, Fall.”
