You Me At Six just announced the artists who are supporting them on their final run of shows in the UK and Ireland, and the lineup is stacked. Artists set to appear with the band in 2025 include The Blackout, Holding Absence, Boston Manor, Mallory Knox, Kid Kapichi, The Xcerts, and The Skints. While appearing on Triple J’s Like a Version, girl in red gave her own rock rendition of the Billie Eilish track “Lunch.” Where Eilish’s vocals are soft and accompanied by a groovy beat, girl in red’s rendition is all rock guitars and rhythms. On July 14, Creeper played a massive headline show at Portsmouth Guildhall with support from Zetra and The Nightmares. ONE OK ROCK is delivering pummeling, urgent modern rock in their first offering of 2024, “Delusion:All” featuring a cinematic accompanying music video. The powerful song is part of Kingdom IV: Return of the Great General, which just hit theaters in Japan. The chorus is brutal yet poignant. “Why does it feel/Like they don’t feel anything?/I pray there’s a future behind those walls/(But maybe I’m delusional)/Let’s make a deal/Pretend this bastard democracy/Is just how we want it and we’re not exhausted,” the band sings. The tour is scheduled to kick off on September 14 with back-to-back performances in Tokyo, Japan and will run through six other major touring markets, including Paris, France; London, UK; Toronto, Ontario, CA; and Los Angeles, CA. After teasing the cover, David Byrne has finally released his reimagination of Paramore‘s “Hard Times.” This follows the band’s take on Byrne’s classic track “Burning Down The House,” which they covered as part of the Talking Heads tribute album Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense via A24 Music.
