Alt-pop singer/songwriter, Sophie Powers has returned today with a brand new single, “Bathroom Floor“. The track oozes with nightcore vibes, a dark pop song with glossy vocals iced on top. The chorus is powerful while the verses offer a groovy break for the listener. “Bathroom Floor” follows “Nosebleed” as the second single she has released since signing to Atlantic Records sister-label, TAG music. Last week, Cameron Hurley—who found fame with We Are The In Crowd in 2009 and became a staple on Warped Tour—released the first three installments to his complete cover album of blink-182’s 1997 album Dude Ranch. Under the recording name new.wav, Hurley first issued “Pathetic,” “Voyour,” and “Dammit” covers, which exude the same high energy performance level as blink-182’s 2000 live album, The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show. Today De’Wayne took to instagram to announce a string of headline shows surrounding his upcoming tour supporting grandson and K.Flay. It comes as no surprise that De’Wayne would be opening for grandson, as they released a super cool collaborative track, “GOOD MOOD” together last year. More than 10 years after the iconic Bamboozle festival packed away their gear for the last time in 2012, we now have day-to-day lineup details for their 2023 event (cue our uncontrollable excitement)! In January, Bamboozle announced their lineup via an old-school, faux Myspace page. Rather than leaning into the nostalgic emo era Myspace was famous for, the lineup includes a plethora of genres and performances. The festival will be resurrected on May 5-7 at Bader Field in Atlantic City, NJ, and will allow you to purchase single-day tickets.
