Incubus have named their upcoming album Morning View, after the street on which they recorded it, guitarist Mike Einziger said Wednesday. Due October 23, the album will feature a blend of styles similar to their breakthrough 1999 release, Make Yourself. “It’s really musically diverse, but it’s not like a patchwork quilt with tons of pieces put together. Linkin Park took some time off in between OzzFest dates to lens the video for its next single, “In The End” last week. DJ Joseph Hahn and Nathan Cox co-produced the clip, which was shot in Culver City, California. It depicts the band playing in a desert, which comes to life as the video progresses. Compared to a year ago at this time, MTV and Eminem are locked in a very reluctant embrace. MTV has agreed to play a new video by Eminem’s group, D12, but only during the overnight hours and only after several days of negotiations with the rap star’s record label, Shady Records/Interscope Records.
