by Sasha 8123 means everything to me! So, after two years of *no* live music, very little social interaction, and a whole lot of bingeing all the shows ever created; idobi gave me the moment I’ve been waiting for! An opportunity to go cover 8123 Fest in Phoenix! Ok, so let me just tell you, I basically cried with happiness! There I was, telling all my friends and family how much I needed this. After being delayed a year due to the pandemic, 8123 Fest is making it’s return in January 2022. But the upcoming festival is going to be more than just the main festival date, fans can expect multiple side shows, a themed after party, and an opportunity to join in on a volunteer day. She absolutely kills it in every project. Jess most famously played for The Summer Set and NEKOKAT and joined 3OH!3 for the entirety of the last Warped Tour. Now she’s… Read more »
Do you ever remember a song from 15 years ago, then all of a sudden it’s 12AM and you’re knee deep in music from your adolescence? What started with singing a random Cartel song in the shower led to a repressed memory about how I used to set my iPod Photo alarm to play Chroma in full (if you remember this feature on iPods then you’re a real one). My brain simply couldn’t leave it at that, it just had to go and spiral down a deep deep hole from the Myspace Era. First, I revisited the entire Cartel catalog.… Read more »
