It’s official. Michael Jackson, the self-proclaimed “King of Pop,” is the “King of Sales” this week, but music industry insiders predict he will soon lose the crown to pop teen queen Britney Spears. Michael Jackson fans got the news they were waiting for Thursday: the “King of Pop’s” first studio album in six years – one that reportedly cost a record-setting $30 million to make – will be released in late October. “Invincible,” released on Sony Music’s Epic Records label, is slated to hit stores internationally on Oct. 29 and in the United States and Canada on Oct. 30, the label said. Elder Brother (Daybreaker vocalist Dan Rose and The Story So Far guitarist/vocalist Kevin Geyer) released a surprise EP, Wish You Were Here, through Pure Noise Records. The record contains four tracks all titled, “Wish You Were Here,” including an original and three covers by Get Up Kids, Ryan Adams, and Pink Floyd.
