Michael Jackson fans got the news they were waiting for Thursday: the “King of Pop’s” first studio album in six years – one that reportedly cost a record-setting $30 million to make – will be released in late October. “Invincible,” released on Sony Music’s Epic Records label, is slated to hit stores internationally on Oct. 29 and in the United States and Canada on Oct. 30, the label said. Janet Jackson is calling it her “All For You” tour, but the pop diva may have trouble convincing thousands of Canadian fans that it’s all for them. The day before she was due to open her world tour in Vancouver, British Columbia, Jackson and her managers decided to postpone Thursday night’s show until Monday, July 9, blaming the late arrival of stage equipment for the abrupt schedule change. Elder Brother (Daybreaker vocalist Dan Rose and The Story So Far guitarist/vocalist Kevin Geyer) released a surprise EP, Wish You Were Here, through Pure Noise Records. The record contains four tracks all titled, “Wish You Were Here,” including an original and three covers by Get Up Kids, Ryan Adams, and Pink Floyd.
