Britney Spears Marries in Vegas


Pop star Britney Spears marched down the aisle in Las Vegas, marrying a childhood friend from Louisiana, according to news reports. The 22-year-old singer married Jason Allen Alexander of Kentwood, La., early Saturday at the Little White Wedding Chapel on the Strip, according to People.com, the Web site for People magazine. But an unnamed source close to singer told the Web site that the wedding was a joke that went too far and Spears is planning an annulment. CBS Denies $1 Million Payday to Michael Jackson for Interview

Rehab To Keep Courtney Love Out Of Jail?


A little time in rehab is better than a little time in jail. Courtney Love, who has been in entertainment headlines regularly over the last couple of months, has been in a drug and substance rehabilitation centre for the last two weeks, according to her lawyer. Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson played coy when asked if they’re back together. “What? Aguilera Set for Live TV Performance


Christina Aguilera will star in her own live performance television special on the U.S. WB network. Taped earlier this month at London’s Wembley Arena, the one-hour “Stripped… Live in the U.K.” will air Nov. 30 at 9 p.m. ET. According to Aguilera’s official Web site (http://www.christina-a.com), the concert will be released Jan. 13 on DVD. Linkin Park Do Surgery On Their Songs, Not Their Singer, In 'Texas'


Linkin Park’s upcoming DVD offers an up close and personal look at the band’s live show, but not as personal as it could’ve been. At Monday’s premiere of “Live in Texas,” guitarist Brad Delson said the band inserted a surgical camera inside singer Chester Bennington, but “it was kind of an invasive process. Courtney Love Turns Herself In On Felony Drug Charges


Courtney Love turned herself in to Beverly Hills police on Tuesday afternoon (October 28) to face two felony drug-possession charges. A warrant was issued for Love’s arrest on October 22 after the Los Angeles district attorney’s office received evidence from police that Love was in possession of the prescription painkillers hydrocodone and oxycodone when she was picked up on October 2 following an overdose. “She was never arrested on these charges, but she was found to be in possession at the time,” Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office spokesperson Sandi Gibbons said.
