Riot Fest will celebrate its 20th anniversary this summer with a stacked return to Douglass Park in Chicago, running September 19–21. The milestone weekend will be headlined by blink-182, Weezer, and Green Day, each anchoring a different day. blink-182 kicks things off Friday, Weezer takes the stage Saturday for a full-album performance of The Blue Album, and Green Day will bring the celebration to a close on Sunday. MxPx is back with their first new music of 2024. Their new single, “Set A Fire” marks their first release since 2023’s Find A Way Home. Additionally, the band has shared an accompanying music video. On the heels of their latest long-awaited full-length album, ~mAntras~, Alien Ant Farm stopped by the idobi Radio Studios in North Hollywood, CA, to perform their breakout single “Movies.” The track originally appeared on their 1999 release, Greatest Hits, before it was re-recorded for their debut studio album, Anthology, alongside their cover of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal,” released in 2001. This week I have legendary rockstar Marko DeSantis! He’s played for such bands as The Swingin’ Utters, The Ataris, and his most notable band- Sugarcult! I got to learn all about his career starting in Santa Barbara through today. I got to first tour with Marko 20 years ago and we’ve been friends ever since, he has such a cool story, he even talks about how he grew up with Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett. Tune in!
