The Eagles Planning Summer U.S. Tour


It appears that the Eagles are planning a multi-date summer tour of the U.S. this year. The band, which played Europe last year but hasn’t mounted a proper North American outing in a couple of years, is putting together about 30 dates, and it should all kick off May 31 in Reno, Nevada, according to Billboard. Green Day Rarities Album On Tap For Summer?


An album of Green Day rarities is on tap for this summer, according to the band’s website. Calls placed by LAUNCH to the group’s publicist for confirmation were not returned at press time. The band is currently culling through its collection of rare and previously unreleased tracks. Sevendust, Fu Manchu, Filter On Board For Summer Locobazooka Trek


While the status of the granddaddy of summer package tours – Lollapalooza – is shrouded in mystery, don’t be fooled by a tour with a similar-sounding name. Locobazooka is the one that’s actually happening. Filter, Sevendust, Fu Manchu, Nonpoint, Mushroomhead, Gravity Kills, Reveille and Earshot are set to perform on the summer trek, which begins June 27 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, according to promoters. The music fest will visit a total of 16 smaller markets before wrapping up July 21. Korn Plot Summer Tour


They’ve been absent from the scene for a while, and after the release of Fieldy’s album Rock N Roll Gangster in January, some folks might be wondering what’s up with Korn. Well, the band wants everyone to know it’s here to stay. Having just completed a seven-date invasion of Mexico and South America with Static-X, Korn will return to North America to conquer their native land. Lenny Kravitz Plans Summer Tour


Lenny Kravitz will kick off his international tour starting with a show in Hiroshima, Japan in April. The singer also plans to tour Europe with stops at German festivals as well as Holland’s annual Pinkpop Festival. Billboard.com reports his only U.S. dates announced so far are April 26 and 27 at the New Orleans’ annual Jazz and Heritage Festival. A full North American tour is expected later this summer.

311 To Headline North America In Late Summer/Early Fall


Funk/punk/rap-rockers 311 will follow their summer on the Warped Tour with an extensive headlining tour across North America. The group will kick off a two-month swing in support of its latest album, From Chaos, at the Street Scene in San Diego on September 8 and play more than three dozen shows through the end of October. The trek culminates in a Halloween performance at the Universal Amphitheater in the group’s home base of Los Angeles.
