As she gears up her headlining tour—alongside select supporting dates for none other than Halsey—PRESSURE arrives as both a creative breakthrough and a personal reckoning.  idobi Radio caught up with Julia to talk about the sonic shift, the Twilight-fueled virality of “In My Room,” her DIY process, and what it really means to take back control of your art. Michael Clifford & Waterparks Release Fan Fiction-Coded “give me a break!”

If you’re not kicking your feet and grinning ear to ear by the end of Michael Clifford’s new music video for “give me a break!” featuring Waterparks, then it clearly wasn’t made for you. The 5 Seconds Of Summer guitarist leans into the chaos, charm, and outrageousness of fan fiction on the collaborative track.  “I’d been really wanting to create something unique with Awsten and Waterparks,” Clifford shares. “Awsten became my person that I would vent to about different things in life and I think that that’s the kind of the energy that this song has. LØLØ is on the Yellow Brick Road to Warped Tour

LØLØ dives into her writing process—both for herself and with other artists—and how stepping into someone else’s creative brain can break writer’s block wide open. She talks about the song she just had to keep for herself (“u & the tin man”), her love for Taylor Swift, and the dream collaborations she’s still manifesting (Green Day, YUNGBLUD, and more).

From sneaking Easter eggs into her music and videos to building a Wizard Of Oz universe on her album and on stage—complete with a yellow brick road—LØLØ reveals how her favorite movies fuel her creativity (yes, she’s that girl who still checks the mailbox for a Hogwarts letter. Can you blame her?!)

The conversation covers everything from her Halloween stage outfits to shouting out icons like Avril Lavigne, Hilary Duff, Maggie Lindemann, and the legacy of Warped Tour acts like Simple Plan and New Found Glory—plus a moment of gratitude for being discovered by NFG’s Chad Gilbert.

LØLØ also gets candid about not being allowed to go to concerts as a kid (“Hi, Mom!”) and how surreal it is to now be part of the very scene she grew up idolizing. And yes—she’s ready to play “Hot Girls In Hell” on Warped Tour… even if she wrote a song called “Poser” just in case.
