Red Hot Chili Peppers To Play Two Charity Shows
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are in a charitable mood, as the band has agreed to perform at a pair of benefit shows next month – one in Los Angeles, the other in New York. The Chili Peppers will join Neil Young and Crazy Horse and Thelonious Monster for a March 1 concert at the Hollywood Palladium to raise money for an ailing substance abuse counselor. Perry Farrell will DJ the event, dubbed “A Night for Gloria,” and proceeds from the show will be donated to Gloria Scott, whom organizers credit with having “helped thousands of souls in Los Angeles”… Read more »
