Sheryl Crow and Train are among the first acts confirmed for the inaugural Jeep World Outside Festival 2002. The five-week, 23-city trek gets in gear July 10 in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to the tour’s publicist. Following a path that hits the West Coast later that month, the trek returns to the East Coast to wrap up in Philadelphia on August 18. The trek marks Crow’s first set of dates to promote her fourth and latest album, C’mon, C’mon, which was released Tuesday. Dates begin Friday (April 19) in Asheville, N.C., and are booked through a June 23 appearance at the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tenn. Incubus kicks off its largest tour to date at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon on Thursday (April 11). The tour, in support of its current album, Morning View, will visit arenas in 49 cities in North America through early July, with open dates on the calendar expected to be filled with yet more shows. Music fans eagerly anticipating the return of the pioneering Lollapalooza tour will have to wait at least another year. Oasis has dubbed its fifth Epic studio album “Heathen Chemistry” and is planning a July release for the 11-track set.
