I met Morgan a few years ago while I was taking a small vacation in Dallas Texas and we discovered how our journeys in life were very similar which led us to be friends! He gave my band one of our first live show opportunities and for that I’ll never forget what he’s done for me, he and his team havetaken a lifestyle and completely revolutionized the Alternative and Pop Punk into nightlife culture, this is his story!
I am super excited about this episode because I went to high school with guest Katie Maloney Schwartz who’s best known for Bravo TV Show “Vanderpump Rules.” I take you on a journey through her story from the time we met all the way to where she ended up being a successful reality star, and we get to catch up and this has to be one of my favorite episodes yet!
This week I have radio legend Nicole Alvarez, she’s one of the most influential hosts over at Alternative LA based station KROQ and shares with me her career and what got her into radio! She’s a huge advocate of music and creation and I was so happy to have her on my show, listen to her story!
This week I have Anthony Lauletta who is a digital marketing guru and owns his own comic and merch company, we talk about all the companies he’s worked for in the state of music and how he’s able to help people in bands and festivals grow their business as well as talking about his own business he was able to create from the ground up!
Episode #2 I talk to my former band member of the band Falling In Reverse, we talk about what he’s up to now and some of our favorite times and memories of touring together.
This week I have producer Courtney Ballard on my show. We talk about how he got started as a producer and engineer and how he got his career. I recently worked with him on a track that we feature from the band The Juliana Theory (I play drums on their latest release “Can’t Go Home”) he’s also worked with the likes of Waterparks, Super Whatevr, Stand Atlantic, Sleeping With Sirens and more. Tune in!
This week I have Dayna Ghiraldi-Travers, who owns her own Public Relations firm. She was my first PR person I ever had and we’ve been in touch and friends ever since. I learn her history on how she got to where she is, we talk about how we met, and we talk about how to survive in her field of work during a pandemic with artists that can’t tour right now and how to survive. Dayna is one of the real ones and I can’t wait for you to hear her story and learn a thing or two with me.
On this episode I have drummer Yesod Williams from Pepper. Even though we come from completely different musical worlds, it just goes to show that it doesn’t matter what genre you’re in, music is one giant community!
He’s one of the nicest and most chill hangs you could ever have! We share stories of tours we’ve done together, we share drum stick and head endorsements and we just catch up and learn the story about how he came up in music from Hawaii!
Jess Bowen is my guest this week, she’s a studio and touring drummer who I’ve known for over a decade, and she’s even covered for me on some gigs I couldn’t do because of prior commitments! She’s been around the world and is one of the first drummers to be on my show. She’s a power house player and everyone should get to know her!
Suzi might be one of the most legendary unground punk rockers alive today, she has had an illustrious career and deserves more recognition. She’s the real deal and we get a glimpse into her many projects and her story.
