ONE OK ROCK is delivering pummeling, urgent modern rock in their first offering of 2024, “Delusion:All” featuring a cinematic accompanying music video. The powerful song is part of Kingdom IV: Return of the Great General, which just hit theaters in Japan. The chorus is brutal yet poignant. “Why does it feel/Like they don’t feel anything?/I pray there’s a future behind those walls/(But maybe I’m delusional)/Let’s make a deal/Pretend this bastard democracy/Is just how we want it and we’re not exhausted,” the band sings. Tenacious D, aka rock-comedy duo Kyle Gass and Jack Black, are ready to “Rock Your Socks” off for a good cause. The two funny musicians just announced a short Midwestern fall tour in which all proceeds go directly to Rock The Vote—the largest nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to building the political power of young people and breaking barriers to participation.
