Bush Map Out 22-City Tour


If absence makes the heart grow fonder, Gavin and Gwen should be able to keep their romantic flame burning bright this winter, since Bush will be touring the U.S. all through March. The 22-date trek of mid-sized venues will begin February 28 in Denver at the Fillmore Auditorium. Bad Religion Plans Record Release Parties, Tour


Bad Religion has lined up a string of tour dates in support of its upcoming release, Process Of Belief, including a trio of Los Angeles shows following the album’s January 22 release. Memphis soul innovator Rufus Thomas dies aged 84


Versatile soul icon Rufus Thomas, a pioneering radio DJ and a singer/songwriter famed for the R&B standard “Walking The Dog,” has died in Memphis at age 84, his family said Sunday. Over a 70-year career, which took off in a segregated minstrel show, Thomas was a key player in the rise of rock ‘n’ roll and soul. He recorded for the two greatest record labels to come out of Memphis, Sun and Stax, and performed into his 80s.
