The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has just revealed their new music video for “Perfection.” Excitingly, the raw video was directed by Shane Drake, aka the artist who also worked on “False Pretense” and “Your Guardian Angel.” The track originally appears on the band’s brand new record X’s For Eyes. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus vocalist Ronnie Winter recently posted a video on Instagram calling out Christians who voted for Trump. After the news spread in the alternative industry and ruffled a few feathers, Winter, a proud Christian, clarified his initial statement to reflect that his religion is one of love. During their time at When We Were Young Fest 2024, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus dedicated “Your Guardian Angel” to a special couple in the crowd. According to a post from user Maikeru San on Facebook/Meta, they and their partner lost their son in 2023, and the song means something deeply special to them. Ahead of their When We Were Young Festival performances this weekend in Las Vegas, NV, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus has launched a new single and accompanying music video, “Home Improvement,” via Better Noise Music. The release is a previously “lost” track originally recorded before the sessions of their 2006 debut album, Don’t You Fake It.
