'N Sync Gearing Up For Arena Tour


‘N Sync will tour North American arenas in the coming months in support of its 2001 Jive album, “Celebrity.” A full itinerary has not yet been unveiled, but dates are so far confirmed for five shows, beginning March 3 at the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore. The group’s stadium run last year grossed more than $90 million, according to Billboard sister publication Amusement Business. 311’s spring tour with Hoobastank, which launches next month, will include a very, very special holiday show in New Orleans. No, not Valentine’s Day. Not Saint Patrick’s Day. Alien Ant Farm, Fenix TX At Heart Of SnoCore Tour


Alien Ant Farm, Fenix TX and Glassjaw are among the bands on board for the seventh annual SnoCore festival. Like last year, SnoCore will once again be split into two factions: SnoCore Rock and SnoCore Icicle Ball, which adopts a more eclectic, avant-garde vibe. Limp Bizkit San Francisco Area Guitar Search Postponed


The San Francisco-area date of Limp Bizkit’s “Put Your Guitar Where Your Mouth Is” guitarist search set for Friday (January 11) was cancelled due to problems obtaining the proper permits, according to the band’s website. The event was to take place just outside the city at the Guitar Center in Concord, California, but things weren’t exactly in order, store manager Frank Gutwein revealed. “I don’t want to address the reasons why, but it was cancelled due to uncontrollable circumstances. Sum 41 Has 'Motivation,' Talks About Changed America


Sum 41 is following up the hit “Fat Lip” and its latest single “In Too Deep” with “Motivation.” The track is the third single off All Killer No Filler, and the video for the clip is being lensed by director Mark Klasfeld, who worked on the band’s previous two clips. The band will soon enter a Hollywood studio to record its fourth album, according to an Interscope Records spokesperson. Nelly Furtado will try to extend the enormous success of her debut release, Whoa, Nelly!, next year with her Burn in the Spotlight Tour. Furtado will launch the tour in Victoria, British Columbia, on January 28th and play the West coast for the first leg.
