Butch Walker Completes 'Left of Self-Centered,' Set for Late-Spring Release


Arista recording artist Butch Walker hits the road in advance of the release of his debut solo album later this spring, “LEFT OF SELF-CENTERED,” as he plays a series of solo warm-up dates in Chicago and his hometown Atlanta prior to heading out for a month of shows with Lit, it was announced today by Antonio “L.A.” Reid, President and CEO, Arista Records. N.E.R.D. Lay Down Tour Dates, Despite Earlier Pledge To Stay Off Road


There’s no money like show money – just ask your favorite performer. Where else can you make tens of thousands of dollars for 90 minutes (or less) of work? Apparently somebody has hipped the guys of N.E.R.D. to this and they have decided to go out on the road in support of their LP, In Search Of…, for 12 dates this spring. Goo Goo Dolls Map Out Tour


Starting next month, the Goo Goo Dolls will take their gig out of the gutter. Fresh off of their top five debut on the Billboard 200 albums chart, on which the band’s latest effort, Gutterflower, entered at #4 with over 100,000 copies sold, the Goo Goo Dolls will go on a 30-date tour in support of the LP. Queens Of The Stone Age (With Dave Grohl) Line Up Tour


While their new album remains months away, Queens of the Stone Age are preparing to hit the highway to test drive some new material, and they’re taking Dave Grohl along for the ride. A month after their performance at this weekend’s Coachella Festival, the Queens will use the roadwork that begins May 27 in Atlanta to rouse anticipation for their third album, Songs for the Deaf, due in mid-July. Eagles Confirm 31-Date Summer Tour


As first reported here last week, the Eagles will kick off their first North American tour in seven years May 31 in Reno, Nev. The 31-date trek will wrap July 20 in Biloxi, Miss., and comes as the group is working on its first studio album of all new material since 1979’s “The Long Run.” Pre-sale tickets for the Reno, El Paso, Texas, Portland, Ore.,and Moline, Ill., shows go on sale Thursday (April 18) through Yahoo!, and will be available Monday through Ticketmaster. Cowboy Junkies 'Open' Up For Tour, DVD


Canadian rock outfit Cowboy Junkies has lined up a 26-date spring tour and finalized details for its first DVD, a companion to last year’s Zoe Records release “Open.” The tour kicks off May 9 in Detroit and wraps Aug. 7 in Peterborough, Ontario. A couple of low-key dates at California wineries are sprinkled throughout, as well as a number of festival appearances. Daybreaker, the techno-folkie’s third full-length album, due July 30, features beats from Brothers Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons on the title track. The Eagles Planning Summer U.S. Tour


It appears that the Eagles are planning a multi-date summer tour of the U.S. this year. The band, which played Europe last year but hasn’t mounted a proper North American outing in a couple of years, is putting together about 30 dates, and it should all kick off May 31 in Reno, Nevada, according to Billboard. Incubus Takes Its 'Morning View' To Arenas


Incubus kicks off its largest tour to date at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland, Oregon on Thursday (April 11). The tour, in support of its current album, Morning View, will visit arenas in 49 cities in North America through early July, with open dates on the calendar expected to be filled with yet more shows.
