New DVD for New Found Glory


Florida punk rockers New Found Glory are gearing up to release their first DVD, The Story So Far, next month. Due October 15th on MCA, the DVD features live footage showing the quintet’s rise from playing backyard shindigs to European tours. Elvis Costello Flashes Cruel Smile To Fans in October


In the late 1970s, Elvis Costello wore a punk snarl to go along with his sharp suits and horn-rimmed glasses. Twenty-five years later, the prolific troubadour has replaced it with something more subtly sinister. Cruel Smile, a companion LP to Costello’s latest studio album, When I Was Cruel, features B-sides, rare cuts and live versions from that album, as well as a handful of fan favorites. Travis Barker Gets Busy With Transplants, New Blink-182 LP


In his continuing bid to be the hardest-working man in rock, Travis Barker has piled a few new endeavors onto his overstuffed plate. On top of firming up plans for side project the Transplants to drop their debut LP, setting off on the road with Box Car Racer, and preparing the new Blink-182 album, the drummer somehow found time to bring his collection of vintage Cadillacs up to 11 with the addition of a ’54 Coup De Ville and ’78 El Dorado. No Doubt, Garbage, Distillers Tour Starts In October (Good Charlotte On Three Dates)


If it weren’t for Good Charlotte filling in three dates for Garbage, it could have been called the Just a Girl tour. Three of the hardest-rocking women in music will join forces when their bands – No Doubt, Garbage and the Distillers – hit the road together in October. Just because New Found Glory are getting love from the “TRL” crowd doesn’t mean they’re changing their ways or cleaning up their act. Aaron Carter Ready To Rumble With Another Earthquake


Most families spend the end of summer gearing up for school. The Carters are spending it preparing for the pop charts. Seven weeks before Nick Carter’s debut solo album is due, his younger brother Aaron will shake up the teen scene with Another Earthquake. Neko Case will release her third solo album Blacklisted, on August 20th. Eminem, Papa Roach, Xzibit, and Ludacris hit the road together beginning in Buffalo on Thursday (July 18) as part of this year’s Anger Management tour.
