In typical My Chemical Romance fashion, they just released a cryptic video, and this time, it’s satirizing old-school game shows with “Quizzo.” Some fans are taking this as a sign of more Long Live The Black Parade international tour dates to come. The Quizzo show host asks, “Who will be the next lucky country to win the grand prize of one nuclear winter?” One contestant helped reveal, “Congratulations, United Kingdom!” Fans on Reddit are convinced that a UK leg is imminent, and they’re hopeful that there will be a handful of shows around the country. “If this is a UK… Read more »

Die Spitz Drops Black Sabbath-Inspired “Pop Punk Anthem (Sorry For The Delay)”

Austin natives Die Spitz are giving us another taste of their debut album, Something To Consume, with “Pop Punk Anthem (Sorry For The Delay).” Preceded by the launch of ferocious single “Throw Yourself To The Sword,” the LP is due out September 12 via Third Man Records. Watch My Chemical Romance Cover “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” By The Smashing Pumpkins

My Chemical Romance just made their stop at San Francisco’s Oracle Park, and it was a night to remember. Along with playing The Black Parade in full, the band pulled out fan faves such as “SING,” “Boy Division,” “It’s Not a Fashion Statement, It’s a Fucking Deathwish,” and more. However, My Chemical Romance also played a very special cover of “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” by The Smashing Pumpkins. Notably, brothers lead vocalist Gerard Way and bassist Mikey Way were deeply inspired by The Smashing Pumpkins and Billy Corgan, specifically when they saw the group on the 1996 Melon Collie and… Read more »

My Chemical Romance Is & Always Will Be Political… Deal With It

Uh oh… My Chemical Romance has entered the “online discourse,” and long-time fans are clashing with “casual” fans. My Chemical Romance has just kicked off their Long Live The Black Parade tour, and some ticket holders took to social media to describe their surprise and perhaps upset with the band for their political themes. At the Seattle date, Gerard Way held an “election” with the crowd who “voted” for hooded “candidates” in the center of the stadium. In classic MCR theatrical fashion, these hooded figures were “executed” and taken out in body bags. “Thank you so very much for participating… Read more »
