'NSYNC Push Back Tour, Album Release


‘NSYNC hit their legion of fans with a double whammy Wednesday morning. Their record company, Jive, announced that not only has the group delayed the release of its new album, Celebrity, from June 26 to July 24, but the start of the boys’ PopOdyssey tour has been pushed back again as well. The band isn’t quite done recording the album, a Jive spokesperson said. The album will display the group’s writing and production skill on some of the tracks, and it’ll also feature contributions from Rodney Jerkins, Brian McKnight, the Neptunes and Wade Robinson. 'N Sync Go "Pop"


While ‘N Sync’s third album, Celebrity, won’t be released until July 24th (long after their tour is underway), fans can get a taste of the first single tomorrow. MTV will preview the song “Pop” during Total Request Live, five days before it hits airwaves officially, and on May 28th the network will premiere the video. “Pop” was co-written and co-produced by Justin Timberlake and Wade Robson. On July 24 Jive Recording artist *NSYNC will release Celebrity the follow up to their Diamond certified Jive debut album No Strings Attached. The first single “Pop” will be available via satellite on May 15 at 7:00 PM ET via the DG system. Destiny's Child To Headline 'TRL' Roadshow


Destiny’s Child have been tapped to headline MTV’s inaugural “TRL” tour, which will kick off in mid-July and hit 30 cities. Other artists featured on the bill include Nelly, Eve, Jessica Simpson, Dream and 3LW. The dates and venues for the tour will be announced by Destiny’s Child and “Total Request Live” host Carson Daly on “TRL” on Tuesday, the same day D Child’s new album hits stores. Aaron Carter Hits Road With A*Teens


He beat Shaq, and now he’s taking on the rest of the country. Aaron Carter, whose Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) jumps 11 spots to #4 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week, is launching a 46-date American tour on June 17 in Santa Barbara, California. 'NSYNC PopOdyssey Tour Dates Change


Forty-five-show, 88-truck excursion expected to be largest pop tour ever. ‘NSYNC’s highly anticipated summer tour, PopOdyssey, is apparently such a spectacle, the group has been forced to delay opening night by six days to properly prepare. The outing is now scheduled to kick off May 18 at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville, Florida, according to promoters. The previous opening night, May 12 at Pro Player Stadium in Miami, Florida, has been moved to August 2. Coldplay Giving U.S. Another Shot


After cutting short a brief North American trek in February, Coldplay have announced plans to return to the States later this spring for a more extensive tour, set to kick off May 24 in Boston. The wistful Brit rock group has tapped Modesto, California’s Grandaddy to serve as the supporting act on the tour, which includes appearances on May 27 and 28 at the HFS Festival in Washington, D.C., and a June 23 KROQ-sponsored show in Los Angeles, according to Coldplay’s label.
