FELICITY dabbles in nu-metal on their new single “Kill ‘Em All,” featuring rap-rockers Discrepancies, and released via Zodhiac Records. The song calls out hypocrisy and deception, which is highlighted in the bridge, “You need to drag us all down/Just to feel worth/But no one ever needed you/the truth hurts.” Opening with distorted vocals and a TV static-esque sound, the track goes straight into heavy rock riffs accompanied by a rap verse. For all the talk about Linkin Park killing off nü metal on the upcoming Minutes to Midnight, it’s rather puzzling that the first sound you hear on the album is the crackle of a needle hitting a record. Linkin Park are to release their third studio album ahead of a headline slot at this year’s Download Festival. The as-yet-untitled-set is confirmed for release on April 30th, with the U.S. rockers also preparing a single to hit a week prior, on April 23rd.
