Lifehouse is on the radio-festival circuit, and the band plays WHTZ (Z100) New York’s Jingle Ball tomorrow night (December 13). The group is also looking ahead to the follow-up to its smash album, No Name Face. New Bon Jovi Due Next Fall


Bon Jovi are set to begin tracking their eighth album and follow-up to 2000’s comeback success, Crush. For the album, tentatively titled “Bounce,” the band will again call on their Crush cohort Luke Ebbin to co-produce (alongside singer Jon Bon Jovi and guitarist Richie Sambora), in Los Angeles’ Henson (formerly A&M) Studios and at Sanctuary, Bon Jovi’s home studio in New Jersey. Public Enemy To Release New Album In February


Socially conscious rap outfit Public Enemy will release a new album in February that will include four remixes produced by fans. During the summer, Chuck D allowed fans to download a capella tracks of “Shut Em Down,” “Public Enemy No. 1,” “B Side Wins Again,” and “By The Time I Get To Arizona,” from his website slamjamz.com, and invited fans to compete for the best remixes, which would be included on the upcoming album. Out Tuesday (November 20) is…All This Time, the live album Sting recorded in Tuscany, Italy, on September 11. Jason Newsted Gets Busy After Metallica


Bassist Jason Newsted toured, recorded and partied with Metallica 24-7 for some 13 years. After quitting the band in February, at least partly because of a ban on side projects, he suddenly found the flexibility to work on multiple projects with different artists.
