Blink-182 Reschedules Two So Cal Shows


Blink-182 has rescheduled two Southern California shows that where postponed earlier this week due to the terrorist attacks on the East Coast. The group will perform at the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim on Sunday (September 16) and at the Long Beach Arena next Wednesday (September 19). The Anaheim show was originally scheduled for September 13 while the Long Beach show was to take place the previous night (September 12). Shows in Phoenix tonight (September 14); Chula Vista, California Saturday (September 15); and at the Oklahoma State Fair in Oklahoma City on Monday (September 17) remain as scheduled. Music Convention, Concerts Delayed By Attacks


With lower Manhattan cut off to civilian traffic after Tuesday’s terrorist assault on the World Trade Center, officials at independent music magazine publisher CMJ decided to put off for a month its annual Music Marathon & Film Fest, which was to have started Thursday. R.E.M. Fans Enjoy MTV Unplugged


About 200 R.E.M. fans crammed into MTV’s midtown studios to see the band perform a mix of old hits and new songs for a special edition of “MTV Unplugged.” “Thank you for jamming into this little room here,” lead singer Michael Stipe joked at the start of Monday’s concert, scheduled to air July 19 as part of the network’s All Access week. 'NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Destiny's Child To Play Live On 'Today'


Early birds catch the worms, and this year they’ll also be able to catch live performances from ‘NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Lopez and Destiny’s Child on NBC’s “Today” show. Those artists, as well as Ricky Martin, Sugar Ray, Shaggy and a host of others are slated to participate in the sixth annual “Today” Summer Concert Series, a 22-week string of free, televised concerts staged outside the midtown Manhattan studios of NBC-TV’s “Today” program. Warped Tour Bands, Dates Confirmed


Rancid, Weezer, 311, Kool Keith, Pennywise, Rollins Band, and the Misfits are some of the bigger artists confirmed to play the annual Vans Warped Tour, set to kick off June 22 in Phoenix. An official announcement of participating venues and additional acts for the nearly two-month tour is expected within two weeks. Making its Warped Tour debut this year will be Incredibly Strange Wrestling, a hybrid of punk rock and hardcore wrestling.
