Shakira Joining Mary J. Blige, Cher On 'Divas' Lineup


Shakira and the Dixie Chicks are the latest artists scheduled to perform at this year’s “VH1 Divas Las Vegas.” The singers have been added to a bill that includes previously announced artists Mary J. Blige, Cher and Celine Dion. Additional performers, presenters and special guests will be revealed as they are confirmed. The fifth annual special will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand hotel on May 23. Past “Divas” performances have included Mariah Carey, Shania Twain, Aretha Franklin and Destiny’s Child. Tommy Lee Hitting The Road In May


Anyone familiar with the antics of Tommy Lee will have no trouble believing life on the road with the former Mötley Crüe drummer will certainly live up to the title of his forthcoming album. Lee and his band are set to beat the streets to support Never a Dull Moment, his second post-Crüe opus, in Denver, Colorado, May 24, according to an MCA spokesperson. The two-month trek, which winds down July 20 in Anaheim, California, will hit 36 cities in all. Eagles Confirm 31-Date Summer Tour


As first reported here last week, the Eagles will kick off their first North American tour in seven years May 31 in Reno, Nev. The 31-date trek will wrap July 20 in Biloxi, Miss., and comes as the group is working on its first studio album of all new material since 1979’s “The Long Run.” Pre-sale tickets for the Reno, El Paso, Texas, Portland, Ore.,and Moline, Ill., shows go on sale Thursday (April 18) through Yahoo!, and will be available Monday through Ticketmaster. Cowboy Junkies 'Open' Up For Tour, DVD


Canadian rock outfit Cowboy Junkies has lined up a 26-date spring tour and finalized details for its first DVD, a companion to last year’s Zoe Records release “Open.” The tour kicks off May 9 in Detroit and wraps Aug. 7 in Peterborough, Ontario. A couple of low-key dates at California wineries are sprinkled throughout, as well as a number of festival appearances. Pet Shop Boys 'In Love' With Gay Eminem Character

The history of Rock has a new chapter. Pimp of the nation Kid Rock proposed to his girlfriend, Pamela Anderson, in the Las Vegas desert on Thursday night. Anderson flew out for Kid Rock’s performance on April 6 at Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel, and the couple remained in the city for the week. Britney's Burglars Catch a Break


Four young men accused of burglarizing Britney Spears and her former sweetie, ‘N Sync crooner Justin Timberlake, are off the hook. A Florida judge sentenced Salvador Martinez, 19, Richard Olivarez, 20, Marcus Cook, 19, and Matthew Daily, 18, each to three years’ probation Thursday after they pleaded no contest to raiding the ex-couple’s rented vacation home in the Panhandle town of Destin, Florida, the Northwest Florida Daily News reports. Veteran British electronic duo Pet Shop Boys has lined up a spring/summer world tour due to kick off May 14 in Miami.
