The Disney Channel has green-lighted a reality series centering on the pop-rock band the Jonas Brothers. The series, which is shooting under the working title “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream,” will follow the on- and off-stage lives of the platinum-selling trio — Kevin, 20; Joe, 18; and Nick, 15 — on their current Look Me in the Eyes tour. “Dream” will get up close and personal with the brothers as they rehearse, travel on the tour bus and perform. Hot teen pop trio the Jonas Brothers have vowed to stay virgins until they wed. The three brothers, Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas, have revealed they’ve sworn a vow of purity. Joe, 18, says, “(We’ve made) promises to ourselves and to God that we’ll stay pure till marriage.” The trio all wear purity rings to remind them of their pledge. It may have been Super Bowl weekend, but the big event for thousands of mostly tween-age girls had nothing to do with football. Instead, all eyes at the Gibson Amphitheatre were focused on three relative rookies known as the Jonas Brothers, who played three sold-out shows there this weekend. Concert touring company Live Nation on Thursday said it reached a two-year, multimillion dollar, worldwide touring deal with tween rockers Jonas Brothers. Live Nation caused a stir in October when it lured pop star Madonna from her long-term music label Warner Brothers with an estimated $120 million multi-album, touring and merchandising global partnership. The Los Angeles-based company said the deal calls for the band, comprised of three siblings from New Jersey, to play more than 140 theatres and arenas around the world.
