Ohio natives, Hawthorne Heights, has returned with their heaviest song to date spanning across their 22-year history, aptly titled “The Storm.” The nearly three-minute ripper is the first preview to the band’s forthcoming, freshly announced EP, Lost Lights, via Pure Noise Records. After three editions of the festival hitting emo fans hard in 2022, Hawthorne Heights is bringing the “Is For Lovers Festival” to eight cities in 2023. This year’s event will visit Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, NV; Denver, CO; Manteo, NC; Council Bluffs, IA; Cincinnati, OH; Pelham, TN; and Mansfield, MA. Hawthorne Heights have announced a small holiday tour hitting the midwest.
We’re excited to launch a special on-air feature with Hawthorne Heights next Monday, June 1st. We’ll have the band on idobi Radio for an hour as they discuss their new record, Zero. The guys will gives a behind-the-scenes look at their recording process, play some of their favorite songs, and much more.
Hawthorne Heights have signed with the Sony / RED distributed Red River Entertainment and are currently recording their new LP with producer Brian Virtue (30 Seconds To Mars, Chevelle, Audioslave), which will be released this summer.
