But along with the approval came a warning to respect the country’s values and its multicultural society. Concert promoters say London is a last-minute town when it comes to ticket buying… but not when it’s O-Town fans doing the buying.  It took just 100 minutes for the first of tomorrow’s two Centennial Hall shows by the boy band machine to sell out two months ago. The second show went almost as quickly to fans who had lined up unsuccessfully for that first show. The Dixie Chicks have been clucking loudly about their record deal. And it’s apparently ruffled some feathers at Sony. The music label has filed a federal lawsuit against the Grammy-winning pop-country trio, claiming the superstar gals are making “sham” claims about being underpaid in order to break their recording contract. The suit, filed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in New York, seeks to enforce Sony’s current contract with Natalie Maines, Emily Robison and Martie Seidel, saying they still owe the label up to four more albums. Brian McKnight has been tapped to join the Sears, Roebuck and Co. family for a nationwide tour that coincides with the release of McKnight’s latest Motown project, “superhero,” streeting Aug. 28. The “Sears Presents An Evening With Brian McKnight” tour kicks off in Cleveland on Sept. 19, with stops in 38 cities, wrapping up in Hawaii in December. It may only be July but Destiny’s Child are already preparing to spread their own brand of Bootylicious holiday cheer this Christmas season. The trio has a series of projects in the works for the season including a holiday album and a line of Destiny’s Child dolls, to be manufactured by Hasbro. The pint-size versions of Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle will stand eleven and a half inches tall. Each doll will wear an exact replica of the outfits worn by the girls on this year’s Grammy Awards.
