Sheryl Crow, Train Get In Gear For Jeep Tour


Sheryl Crow and Train are among the first acts confirmed for the inaugural Jeep World Outside Festival 2002. The five-week, 23-city trek gets in gear July 10 in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to the tour’s publicist. Following a path that hits the West Coast later that month, the trek returns to the East Coast to wrap up in Philadelphia on August 18. The trek marks Crow’s first set of dates to promote her fourth and latest album, C’mon, C’mon, which was released Tuesday. Tyrese Injured in Bike Accident


Singer-actor Tyrese is in a hospital after a motorcycle accident. His spokesman said Tyrese took a spill on his bike last Friday while riding off-road in a desert area of Riverside County in Southern California. Tyrese, 23, hurt his back and suffered cuts, and the motorcycle was totaled. At first, Tyrese was treated at a hospital and released. But he checked himself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles Monday after experiencing lingering back pains. Pink Inks Marketing Agreement With Bally Total Fitness


Pink has signed a marketing agreement with health-and-fitness service provider Bally Total Fitness. The terms of the agreement call for a creative collaboration between the singer and Bally on a new hip-hop dance aerobics class called Get Your Body Started, and a national dance competition. In addition, Pink will be seen and heard in national and local print-and-television advertising for the fitness company, and she and her music will also be featured in a radio campaign. All 'Trails' Lead To Rush Tour


Canadian power trio Rush will kick off its first tour in five years June 28 in Hartford, Conn. The 27 confirmed stops are the first in the band’s planned extensive tour in support of its latest Atlantic album, “Vapor Trails,” due May 14.
