Not only are they pirating tunes on the Internet rather than paying upwards of $20 for a compact disc, they are also increasingly reluctant to fork out for costly concert tickets. Following a successful surgical procedure to treat an operable form of cancer, Sharon Osbourne is recovering and the Ozzfest tour will go on as expected. Osbourne, 50, underwent surgery for colon cancer last week in an undisclosed hospital near Los Angeles, according to the Osbournes’ spokesperson. Her doctors expect her to make a full recovery. Family, friends and surviving members of the iconic British rock band The Who attended the funeral of virtuoso bass player John Entwistle on Wednesday at a rural church. The record industry pleaded on Wednesday with consumers to stop downloading and recording music for free because piracy was strangling the multi-billion-dollar industry.
